You can also donate with a credit card by phone at 847-467-7423 or on the donation page of this website. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Donations can be made in memory or in honor of a loved one.
Gifts of Stock or Personal Property

Gifts Through Your Will or Estate
People who make planned gifts through their wills or estates come from all walks of life, all age groups and all income levels. Some people making a planned gift choose to make the gift during their lifetime, while others choose to make the gift once they have passed away. Either way, gift planning plays an important role in ensuring that JourneyCare can always say yes to our patients and fulfill our commitment of never turning anyone away, regardless of their ability to pay for hospice, palliative or supportive services.
Just as no two people who create gifts are the same, there are many different types of planned gifts.
Company Matching Gifts
Many employers match contributions made by their employees. Check with your Human Resources office to obtain a form to accompany your gift.
Attend or Sponsor One of Our Events
Four main fundraising events, including our winter dance, summer gala, duck race and memorial golf tournament, are held annually in support of JourneyCare’s programs.
Host an Event
Independent fundraising or third-party events are developed and run by non-JourneyCare staff in support of JourneyCare programs. We welcome individuals, families, schools, businesses and civic organizations to host events, which can range from bake sales and school-sponsored drives to golf outings and 5K races. We accept donations of goods and/or services to use in silent auctions, as raffle prizes at our events or as something that might be useful to our general operations.

Volunteer Your Time
Volunteer to be part of an event committee, walk in a parade to promote JourneyCare, participate in soliciting in-kind donations for raffle prizes, make sponsorship calls or help out with administrative tasks in the office.
