Requirements include attending one day in-person training, completion of online courses, TB test, background check and references check.
Teens 16+ May Volunteer at a Hospice CareCenter
Are you a musician that would love to share your talent in a beautiful environment? Would you like to visit with patients and their families and support our CareCenter staff? JourneyCare has Hospice CareCenters in a number of locations – possibly near you. Consider attending an upcoming one-day comprehensive training to prepare you to be an CareCenter volunteer. If you are a student in 4th – 12th grade and are interested in joining the Kids Who Care Team – either as a JourneyCare Junior, a member of the Teen Leadership Team or with Kids Who Care-South – click the Kids Who Care button. There will be chapters operating in Barrington, Glenview and the South Suburbs for the new school year. Through your volunteering you will have an opportunity to help our patients and families in meaningful ways while learning about JourneyCare and the patients and communities we serve.
