A season of celebration in this pandemic landscape along with shortened daylight hours can be a difficult for anyone this time of year, especially for those who are grieving. To connect those who are coping with loss during the holidays, JourneyCare is honored to host our second annual Virtual Tree of Lights.

“We offer Tree of Lights as a way to come together as a community of support and enlightenment,” says Bereavement and Integrative Care Services Manager Megan Andriano.

“There are periods of darkness in our lives that have the potential to bring new meaning to what we have experienced. Out of the darkness may come enlightenment that transforms our ability to be present for others,” JourneyCare Interfaith Chaplain and featured Tree of Lights speaker Patrick Curtin says.

The event welcomes our JourneyCare families, staff, volunteers and grieving families in our communities alike to join this year’s virtual event and share a space of reflection, inspiration, unity in honoring loved ones who are no longer here.

Join us Sunday, December 12 at 3 p.m. on Zoom for inspirational readings, uplifting music and for the awareness that you are not alone on this journey.

Register online today. Attendees will receive a printable ornament to hang in remembrance of their loved one. For questions about the Tree of Lights event, please call 224-770-2273.
