JourneyCare was honored to be named “Community Partner of the Year” at the Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Dinner and Scholarship Fundraiser held last week and attended by more than 200 community leaders. JourneyCare was represented by CEO Sarah Bealles and a number of the Executive Leadership Team.
“It’s such a tremendous honor and very humbling for JourneyCare to be chosen as the Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce’s Community Partner of the Year,” said Sarah Bealles. “JourneyCare has been a part of the Barrington community for over 30 years, and the support this community has shown us from the start has been remarkable.
“JourneyCare’s mission is ‘Enriching lives through expert and compassionate care.’ We are incredibly grateful to this community for entrusting us with the care of their loved ones.”
Liz Luby, BACC Chairman of the Board, adds “Their presence here brings heart and soul to our region.”
JourneyCare was nominated along with five other very-worthy nonprofit organizations for the Community Partner of the Year Award, which honors a nonprofit association or organization that has distinguished itself in the community as an innovator, resulting in the advancement of a cause or project in the Barrington area that has improved the lives of others and the quality of the community.
