JourneyCare staff and volunteers are invited to a Journal Writing Workshop.
As hospice and palliative care workers, what we do day in and day out is rewarding, transformative and life-affirming, but it can also stir up unexpressed emotions and ideas that we may want to explore in greater depth. Journaling can provide an outlet, allowing you to look inward at how you are affected by your hospice experiences.
Participants will explore, in lightly structured writing activities, their thoughts and feelings about their work with JourneyCare or their encounters with death and the dying process in their own lives. Sharing what has been written is appreciated, but strictly optional.
