In grief, our hearts have been broken and we tend to carry our sorrow in our neck, shoulders and chest. By taking the time to learn a few gentle yoga poses that can be done in one’s chair, with healing breath, the pain can be eased.
In grief, we aren’t aware that we hunch over and pull in to protect our broken hearts. By engaging in these simple exercises, taking time for ourselves to think and feel, we can begin to heal from our loss.
